Where Can I Serve?

Get Involved at 3Strands

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of 3Strands is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community and spreads overseas to every nation.

Music

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of 3Strands, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Greeters

The Greeting team arrives at church early to make sure that all materials for visitors are in place and they are ready to welcome everyone who steps through the doors. This ministry is fairly easy to do but its significance is enormous.

Media

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of 3Strands. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our Faith Life page which is linked under the Sermons tab. We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.

Children

To give our children the best Bible teaching possible, 3Strands holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunities for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles.

Nusery

For our infants and newborns, 3Strands nursery during the main service. Creating a safe environment where they are loved, nourished, and cared for.

Bible Study groups

3Strands is always in the process of establishing new Bible study groups to fellowship, learn more about God, and get closer to Him. If you are interested or would like to suggest a group we would love to talk to you! We have a couple of groups happening starting in January.

Missions

In Kallupalli, India: We are helping to spread the word and build a church.

Good Samaritan Purse: goes to the aid of the world's poor, sick, and suffering, helping meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Food Bank

Partner with us as we serve in the Victory Baptist Church, Food Bank Bread of Life Food Pantry. This is a great way to love and serve others in our community.
